We strive to maintain a high level of quality when dealing with clients, and, with the work that we produce. We realize that our livelihood is built upon repeat business and word-of-mouth advertising. To help maintain these standards, we use quality tools and implement progressive thinking to deliver an outstanding web site to our clients.

Dreamweaver

We believe that Macromedia's Dreamweaver is the best web design tool around. Numerous panels of information and functionality help streamline development. The developer can easily switch back and forth between a WYSIWYG view or programming code view. CSS and JavaScript code can be created and maintained without leaving Dreamweaver. It provides seamless integration with the other products in the Macromedia Studio suite. And, it produces clean HTML code that is free of extraneous proprietary "information".

Cascading Sheet Styles (CSS)

CSS provides an excellent way to standardize the look and feel of a web site. It also provides some capabilities not found in standard HTML code. We use CSS as much as possible to streamline our development time, and, to make it easier to maintain web sites in the future.

XHTML

XHTML is a bridge between HTML and XML programming languages. This specification provides a more consistent standard for browsers and helps to reduce sloppy programming code. So, visitors to a web site using different browsers are more likely to see the same layout, colors, etc. We use the W3C Markup Validation Service to test and validate our use of XHTML. We also take advantage of Dreamweaver's validation functionality to test our code to the "XHTML Strict" specifications.

Stability

We strive to reassure our clients of our integrity and stability. Our professional computer experience dates back to the early 1980's. Our domain name has been operational since late 1999 and we have never been on a "free" web host. We remain in constant communication with our clients to make sure that their needs are met. We also take the time to educate our clients so that they can make better decisions in the future concerning their web site.

We also try to maintain stability in our programming practices and design. We make use of tools such as CSS, templates, library items, and, JavaScript to keep from "reinventing the wheel".

Integrity

We realize that the nature of the internet means we have to try harder to show our clients that we can be trusted with their information. We strive to provide a professional service to our clients for as long as the relationship lasts - and beyond. We discuss various issues up front with our clients including:

  • our responsibilities in having access to their private and public information
  • who owns the programming code that we develop
  • requirements we have to meet before we get paid
