Font styles can be fun, bland, or even annoying. A
font can set the tone of the entire site. Other font
characteristics to consider include size and color,
as well as their interaction with background images.
A bad combination can be difficult to read, and downright
annoying. Also, with many people being colorblind, some
colors and/or combinations should be avoided.
We have provided links to some pages that show a collection
of font styles. Notes with each link provide issues
for you to watch for on that page. As far as design
features and implementation shown in these sample pages,
we would recommend Page 3 because of the ease of navigation
back to the list of font names.

- simple layout without frames or JavaScript
- clicking a font name causes the browser to
jump up or down the page
- lack of "back to top" buttons require
clicking the browser's <Back> button to
return to the list of font names, although adding
them is not difficult
- if browser window is smaller than 800 x 600,
still displays fine
