General
This page gives a brief overview of different
materials we use to line cuffs, collars, and,
some other products. We use rubber cement or a
similar product to apply linings to our products.
It is difficult to get a good pic of the different
materials that adequately shows the "thread
count" (the higher the thread count, the
tighter the weave and the more threads per inch)
and the "loop" (how long the "hairs"
of the fabric are, or, how "furry" it
is). The best recommendation we can give you is
to stop by your local fabric store and ask to
see some examples of the materials listed below.
We are always open to the idea of adding a new
material to use for linings. Feel free to contact
us with your suggestions.

This material has a longer loop than traditional
fleece and plush felt, making it feel more
furry. It is a 50/50 blend of polyester
and acrylic. Because of the longer loop,
it provides more cushioning than fleece
and plush felt.
Sometimes referred to as "fleece berber"
or "berber fleece".
