The
"O" ring gag is an alternative to the
traditional ballgag. It can be very frustrating
to the wearer because it seems like they should
be able to talk, but, their words are too slurred
for understanding. And, it also generates
some drooling. But, the mouth is forced open
for all sorts of training.
The "O" ring is inserted sideways into
the mouth and turned to fit behind the teeth.
The 3/4" wide straps are adjusted with a
velcro closure at the back of the head.
The "small" size ring is a 1½ inch
"O" ring.
The "medium" size ring is a 1¾ inch
"O" ring.
The "large" size ring is a 2 inch "O"
ring.
The sizes for the straps relate to a measurement
around the head. The measurement should be taken
across the the lips of a closed mouth, around
the side of the head under the ears, and, around
the back of the neck just below the hairline.
The "small" size straps fit a measurement of xx inches to yy inches.
The "medium" size straps fit a measurement of xx inches to yy inches.
The "large" size straps fit a measurement of xx inches to yy inches.
A couple
of things to be cautious about. "O"
rings are measured from the inside diameter of
the circle, and, the metal is typically 1/4"
thick. So, a 1½ inch ring is actually 2"
wide when inserted in the mouth with a gag like
this. Remember that when you specify the
size you want, it is the inner diameter measurement.
Also, gags can cause some very uncomfortable fatigue,
and, the wider the mouth is held open, the quicker
fatigue will set in.
