This is the first strap-on harness that we ever made. We first started working on the design in the middle of 2000 and this prototype was made in the middle of 2001. Designed for BBWs, we were able to accomplish our major goals of fit and function. But, we also learned some things that we wanted to change.

First, we originally felt that we needed a 4 inch wide belt to anchor the front panel and the rear straps. We also liked the idea of how intimidating such a wide belt would be. But, we found that we could accomplish both of those goals with a 2½ inch wide belt. To retain the ability for the front panel to attach to the belt in 4 different "heights", we had to add a flange that stuck out below the belt.

Second, we originally felt that the roller buckles on the sides needed to be wide to keep the belt snug. But, we found that the 2½ inch double prong roller buckle (and the 2½ inch wide strap passing through it) was just too cumbersome. More testing showed that a 1 inch roller buckle would be sufficient.

Third, we were originally concerned that the front panel was too wide for comfort while still accepting the dildo "O" ring in a 4 inch square of snaps. So, we placed the snaps used to attach the front panel to the belt in between the vertical rows of snaps on the front panel. But, when the dildo "O" ring is attached to the top snaps on the front panel, the corner of the panel curled away from the body. This allowed the dildo to move on its own more than we wanted. So, we made the top of the panel wider and attached it to the belt with snaps outside the two vertical rows of snaps on the panel.
