This nice little strap is made from one piece of leather that is 2" wide and measures approximately 17" long.

Both ends of the leather are cut into 4 strips, subjected to our edge treatment, and, braided to form the handle.

This strap sounds louder than it feels (like most straps), but, it can still do some serious work.
